I've spent 6+ years making technical products usable

Anastasia Bodrova

Whoever a product is for, people just want to get the job done, fast and without friction. I design around the person and the task: simple for them, valuable for the business.

I've been the founding designer twice — at Datafold and LlamaIndex, San Francisco startups — and today I'm Product Manager & Product Designer at Valprovia in Stuttgart.

Experience
2026 — now
Valprovia Stuttgart
Product Manager & Product Designer · Microsoft 365 governance

Keeping Teams and SharePoint under control for enterprises. I own product and design together, end to end.

2024 — 2025
LlamaIndex San Francisco
Founding Product Designer · AI / LLM tools

0→1 design for the LlamaCloud platform — its information architecture, the shared component model, and the Parse, Extract & Index configuration surfaces customers touch — plus brand direction and the first user-research practice. Grew through its Series A.

2021 — 2024
Datafold San Francisco · YC S20
Founding Product Designer · Data tooling

End-to-end design for Data Diff, column-level lineage, and IDE & Git integrations. Built and scaled the design function, and carried the design story through the Series A.

2020 — 2021
Budu Moscow
Product Designer · Mobile eHealth

Mobile apps for patients and doctors — research, usability testing, and a shared design system.

How I think

Three principles that guide the work

01

Empathy first

Research and real conversations come before pixels. I design for the people who'll actually use it.

02

Make the complex clear

I dig into a hard domain until I understand it well enough to make it feel effortless.

03

Own the outcome

I stay accountable for the result, from first research to production — alongside engineering and business, never over the wall.

Beyond the work

A little of what else

Languages

English (C1) · German (B2) · Italian (A1) · Russian (native).

Photography

A hobby — moments I didn't want to forget.

Maulbronn Monastery
Terracotta rooftops over Prague's Old Town Square
Strasbourg Cathedral against a blue sky

Travel

Always planning the next trip — new places, new ways of seeing.

Genealogy

Tracing my family history — a slow, detective-like hobby I love.
